very solid album solid production and the lyrics are on point as always with Jadakiss the flow and delivery will always be the same he’s old school so if you’re looking for something different you’re not a core fan the thing with kiss is and always Been is lyrical assault brilliant bars metaphors and excellent word play and he delivered as he has done his entire career overall very solid album deserving of 5 stars based on lyrical content alone
Jadakiss has always been on point with creativity. He expresses a lot of growth and maturity as an artist on this album which is more of a tribute to his mentor Icepick Jay. The only thing that is missing is a track with Styles and Sheek but the album is dope regardless.
JADA JADA JADA...WHAT IS THIS???? Don’t tell me your selling out commercial style??? THIS ISNT YOU!!! What happened to one of the best rappers from the #GoldenAgeofHipHop ???? What happened to you....plz say it ain’t true??!!
I’m so happy he stayed true to himself and didn’t try to sound like today’s hip hop artist. His growth as an artist is reflected in this album. Pure raw and unfiltered, Jada does not disappoint.
Easily one of the most over rated main streamer in the game. My god am I tired of this raspy, always sounding angry voice. I’ll never understand why people like him. His lyrics are corny, and all he ever does is sound angry at the world. Poor guy needs a hug. - Owner of thousands of actual hip hop records.
Always been a huge Kiss/L.O.X fan. I usually like their solo albums better than the group ones. This one is ok. I would say this is probably his 3rd best solo album. Lots of singing on the hooks which I am not a fan of especially when listening to a hip/hop album. Lyrics are always on point with Kiss. Not to thrilled about the features on this but overall this album is alright.
I believe that when it comes to straight bars, 'Kiss is one of the best. I personally don't believe that he has ever been able to put together a complete body of work in one album, but continues to show out in collabs and such. This album is the closest to complete in my opinion. I understand (play through) the slower joints as he is paying his respects to Icepick, but most like the faster flow.
This doesn’t sound like a Jadakiss album. Every song has a soft R&B chorus and not a single song with the LOX?? No head bangers.. However this is the purist I’ve ever heard Jadakiss in an album so you got to take the good with the bad.
Anyone that gives this album a negative review doesn’t understand growth from an artists perspective. This is all around a classic Jadakiss album. I have nothing negative to say about it.
From beginning to end album is 🔥had it on repeat all day . Wasn’t his usual lox self but we had a different version of Kiss on this one and I’m not disappointed as it was a eulogy of sorts for his man’s so he had to keep it slow and soulful. That being said . Jada absolutely great work love the album appreciate you brother 💪🏽
Kiss last year jumped over jay z as my number 1 FAV rapper..this is smoother than usual but ill take it and rock it ..still better than that other whack mess yall listen to that yall call hip hop thats not real or good music but hey KISS that dude and his time is well over due, LOX FOREVER since NICCAS DONE STARTED SOMETHING
